Spiced Waffles with Pecan Honey Sauce

Ingredients

  • 4 cups H-E-B Original Complete Pancake & Waffle Mix
  • 1/2 cup Pecan Halves
  • 1 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • 1/4 tsp Butter Flavor No-Stick Cooking Spray
  • 1/4 cup Sweet Cream Butter
  • 1/4 cup Pecan Pieces
  • 1/4 cup Pure honey
  • 1/4 cup Maple Syrup
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar

Instructions

  1. For waffles, mix batter according to package directions.
  2. Stir in pecan halves and pumpkin spice.
  3. Pre-heat waffle iron and spray with non-stick cooking spray.
  4. Cook waffles according to package directions, about 5 to 7 minutes each.
  5. For sauce, melt butter in small saucepan. Stir in pecan pieces, honey, syrup and brown sugar.
  6. Spoon sauce over waffles.
