Spaghetti Alla Puttanesca

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup Extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp Crushed red pepper flakes, or as needed for spice
- 2 oz Flat anchovies, oil drained
- 1/4 cup Fresh garlic, thinly sliced
- 28 oz Whole peeled Datterino tomatoes, item code not available yet.
- 1 cup Pitted Kalamata olives, roughly chopped
- 1/3 cup Capers, drained
- 16 oz Bronze cut spaghetti
- 1/2 cup Fresh parsley, roughly chopped
Instructions
- Set a large sauté pan over medium heat. Add olive oil and red pepper flakes and cook for 1 minute.
- Add anchovies, breaking them up with a wooden spoon or spatula, and cook until they dissolve into a paste. Add garlic, sauté until just starting to turn a light tan color, then add tomatoes, olives and capers.
- Bring sauce to a simmer then reduce heat to low and cook for at least 10 to 15 minutes. While sauce simmers, cook pasta according to package instructions, drain and set aside.
- Add cooked spaghetti and parsley to sauce, toss to coat and season to taste. Serve immediately.
