Slow Cooker Brisket Tostadas

Ingredients

  • 1 Large yellow onion, sliced thinly
  • 1 tbsp Mexican oregano
  • 3 lb Trimmed brisket flat cut
  • 1 tsp Ground cumin
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tbsp Kosher salt, as needed
  • 1 tbsp Ground black pepper
  • 16 oz Roasted tomatillo medium salsa, or any salsa
  • 8 Yellow tostadas, or as needed for serving

Instructions

  1. Place onions and oregano on the bottom of a crock pot. Add brisket, season with cumin, paprika and salt and pepper. Add salsa and set crock pot to lowest setting.
  2. Cook for 8 hours or until brisket is fall apart tender.
  3. To serve, shred brisket in crock pot and season to taste as needed. Serve brisket on tostadas and top with your favorite condiments.
