Ingredients
- 1 lb Boneless chicken thigh
- 5.5 oz Ramen noodles, cooked in boiling water until tender and drained
- 1 fl oz Grapeseed oil
- 1/2 Nori sheet, shredded
- 1/4 tsp Adams Reserve Shichimi Togarashi Seasoning
- 1 cup Fresh green onion(s), sliced thinly on a bias
- 1 cup Low sodium chicken broth
- 1 Fresh baby bok choy, cut into lengthwise quarters
- 1 Large brown eggs
- 12.4 oz Shoyu japanese ramen base
Instructions
- Add oil to a Dutch oven and heat on high until oil shimmers across the surface. Add chicken thighs skin-side down and brown skin evenly, about 2 minutes. Flip chicken and brown the other side for about 2 minutes.
- Add chicken broth to pan then add ramen base, cover and reduce heat to a simmer. Cook about 20 minutes, or until chicken has an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Meanwhile bring a medium saucepan of water to a boil over medium-high heat. With a slotted spoon, gently lower one large room temperature egg into boiling water and allow egg to boil for 6 minutes. Remove egg from water and place into ice water bath. Gently peel egg, slice in half lengthwise. Set aside.
- Add bok choy and noodles to broth. Heat about 3 minutes then divide between 2 bowls.
- Add chicken (whole or sliced) to bowl and garnish with sliced scallions, togarashi, egg and nori shreds.
