Shiitake Mushroom Soup

Ingredients

  • 19.8 oz Sliced shiitake mushrooms, drained
  • 1 tsp Sesame oil
  • 14.5 oz Beef broth
  • 14.5 oz Chicken broth
  • 1 tsp Ground white pepper
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Corn starch, mix with enough water to make a paste
  • 1 cup Green onion(s), sliced

Instructions

  1. In a 2 quart sauce pot, sauté mushrooms in sesame oil 2 minutes.
  2. Add beef broth, chicken broth, white pepper, onion powder, soy sauce and cornstarch.
  3. Simmer soup for 15 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Garnish with green onions.
