Sesame Chicken with Soba Noodles

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 2 tbsp Rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp Sambal Oelek Ground Fresh Chili Paste
  • 3/4 lb Thin sliced boneless chicken breasts, cut into thin strips
  • 16 oz Buckwheat noodles
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 1 cup Green onions, chopped on the bias
  • 2 tsp Sesame seeds, toasted

Instructions

  1. Combine the sesame oil, honey, rice wine vinegar, minced garlic, soy sauce and sambal together in a medium bowl.
  2. Slice chicken breast into thin strips and place in a separate bowl. Spoon 2 to 3 tablespoons sesame oil mixture over raw chicken and stir to combine. Set aside.
  3. Cook noodles according to package directions and set aside.
  4. Place vegetable oil in a large non-stick skillet over Medium-High heat. Add chicken and cook until well browned and cooked throughout, 3 to 4 minutes per side.
  5. Add noodles and any remaining sauce to chicken and cook an additional 3 to 4 minutes.
  6. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
