Unsaved Reindeer Bait

Ingredients

  • 5 cups Chex cereal
  • 3 cups Low fat pretzel sticks
  • 2 cups Roasted, salted peanuts
  • 5 oz Popped popcorn
  • 1 lb Vanilla candy coating
  • 2 cups Mini M&Ms, red & green - or all the colors if you prefer

Instructions

  1. Add Chex cereal, pretzels, peanuts and popcorn to a large bowl. Stir to combine.
  2. Melt candy coating in microwave according to package directions and drizzle over cereal/pretzel mixture. Stir well to combine.
  3. Line 2 rimmed baking sheets with parchment paper. Quickly spread mixture out in a thin layer before it starts to harden. Sprinkle M&Ms and peanuts over the top.
  4. Chill until coating hardens. Break into pieces and serve at room temperature.
  5. Chef's Note: Store in an airtight container if needed.
