Unsaved Prosciutto Wrapped Maple Roasted Pears

Ingredients

  • 2 Large firm Bosc pears, stems removed and bottoms trimmed, pears cored and cut into quarters
  • 1/4 cup Maple syrup, plus more as needed for brushing over pears
  • 3 oz Thinly sliced prosciutto, as needed for wrapping pears
  • 2 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil, as needed for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400ºF.
  2. Place pears on prepared sheet pan. Brush maple syrup over pears and season with salt and cracked pepper.
  3. Place in oven and roast for 20 to 25 minutes or until just soft to allow pear flavor to concentrate. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.
  4. Once pears have cooled, wrap each in prosciutto and refrigerate. When ready to serve, drizzle each pear with extra virgin olive oil.
