Serves 8

Ingredients

  • 0.2 oz Dry yeast
  • 1 cup Water, warm
  • 3 tbsp Pure honey
  • 1 tsp Kosher salt
  • 1 tsp Xanthan gum
  • 2 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 1/4 cups Gluten Free All purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in the bowl of a stand mixture. Using the paddle attachment, mix on low speed until a batter is formed. Turn mixer off, scrape down sides of bowl then mix for an additional 30 seconds. Turn off mixer and remove paddle attachment. Let batter rest for 15 minutes.
  2. While batter rests, preheat oven to 425ºF. Lightly spray a non-stick pizza pan or a sheet pan covered in parchment.
  3. Turn dough out onto the prepared baking pan and spread into a round shape, filling any holes as you go. It should be rather sticky.
  4. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until edges are crisp. Remove from oven and top with your favorite pizza toppings. Return to oven and bake until cheese is bubbly.
  5. For a crisper crust, place a par-cooked crust on a pizza stone to finish.
  6. Chef's Note: The crusts can be par-cooked and stored in the refrigerator for later use.
