Pepper Garlic Crusted Steak

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Kosher salt
  • 2 1/2 tbsp Ground black pepper
  • 1 Red onion, cut into slices
  • 4 Angus T-bone steaks, 8-10 Oz, 3/4-inch thick
  • 5 Fresh garlic clove(s), peeled
  • 1 Green pepper(s), cut into strips
  • 1/2 cup Extra virgin olive oil

Instructions

  1. Combine salt, pepper, garlic and olive oil in a food processor; blend for 30 seconds until garlic is chopped.
  2. Rub processed mixture on both sides of each steak.
  3. Prepare charcoal or gas grill for cooking (375°F); cook steaks 6-8 minutes per side.
  4. Spray a vegetable grill rack or mesh with cooking spray; arrange onion rings and bell pepper strips on rack, then coat with cooking spray; grill 4 minutes until golden; serve with steaks.
