Pecos 83 Cowboy Strip Steaks

Ingredients

  • 2 lb Boneless New York strip steaks, cut 3/4 or 1-inch thick
  • 1 1/2 cups Cookwell & Company Pecos 83 BBQ Marinade
  • 1 tsp Dried Oregano
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Kosher Salt
  • 1 tsp Ground Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. Place steaks and marinade in a large plastic bag. Seal bag and toss to coat; marinate steaks 30-60 minutes.
  2. Heat gas grill on high 10 minutes with lid closed.
  3. Pour marinade from steaks into a small pot.
  4. Bring to a boil over medium heat; simmer 3 minutes or longer until reduced slightly. Set aside.
  5. Season steaks with oregano, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
  6. Grill according to steak package directions; baste with reduced marinade after turning.
  7. Baste steaks again after grilling. Serve.
