Pecos 83 Cowboy Strip Steaks

Ingredients
- 2 lb Boneless New York strip steaks, cut 3/4 or 1-inch thick
- 1 1/2 cups Cookwell & Company Pecos 83 BBQ Marinade
- 1 tsp Dried Oregano
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Kosher Salt
- 1 tsp Ground Black Pepper
Instructions
- Place steaks and marinade in a large plastic bag. Seal bag and toss to coat; marinate steaks 30-60 minutes.
- Heat gas grill on high 10 minutes with lid closed.
- Pour marinade from steaks into a small pot.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat; simmer 3 minutes or longer until reduced slightly. Set aside.
- Season steaks with oregano, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
- Grill according to steak package directions; baste with reduced marinade after turning.
- Baste steaks again after grilling. Serve.
