Papaya & Spicy Mustard Glazed Ham

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Fresh Papaya, skin removed, seeds scraped, and diced
  • 3/4 cup Spicy Brown Mustard
  • 1/3 cup Mexican Mesquite Honey
  • 8 lb Whole Spiral Sliced Ham

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400ºF.
  2. In a food processor or blender, add papaya, mustard and honey. Blend until smooth, set aside.
  3. Set cut side of ham down onto a sheet pan lined with parchment paper or foil. Brush half of glaze over ham and bake 30 to 45 minutes.
  4. Remove from oven and brush remaining glaze around ham to coat completely. Allow to cool 10 to 15 minutes before carving.
  5. Chef's Note: This makes an excellent ham sandwich when cold.
