Unsaved Pan Seared New York Strip

Ingredients

  • 2 Prime 1 Beef New York Strip Steak Boneless, USDA Prime, about 12 ounces each
  • 1 tsp Kosher salt
  • 1 tsp Ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Place a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. While pan heats, generously season steak with salt and pepper.
  3. Add steaks to hot, dry skillet and sear on all sides for 2 to 3 minutes per side. Remove from pan and rest for 10 minutes.
  4. Serve with Maitre d' Hotel butter or cracked pepper Bearnaise sauce.
