Oven Roasted Sweet Ancho Brussels Sprouts

Unsaved Oven Roasted Sweet Ancho Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients

  • 12 oz Brussel sprouts
  • 1/4 Small red onion, about 1/2 cup measured after cutting into strips
  • 2 tbsp Rustico di Casa Asaro Unfiltered Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp Central Market Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, 4 Leaves
  • 2 tsp H-E-B Select Ingredients Fish Market Sweet Chile Ancho Spice Blend
  • 2 tbsp H-E-B Fully Cooked Bacon Pieces, or about 2 slices, fully cooked & chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450ºF. Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil and set aside.
  2. Trim any brown edges from bottom of Brussels sprouts then cut sprouts in half vertically.
  3. Add sprouts and onions to a large bowl. Drizzle with olive oil, balsamic vinegar and sweet chili ancho seasoning. Toss well to coat vegetables.
  4. Spread out in a single layer on prepared sheet pan and bake for 10 minutes.
  5. Remove from oven, add bacon and toss to combine. Bake another 8 to 10 minutes, or until edges of sprouts are nicely charred. Serve hot.
