Ingredients
- 1 cup Sushi rice, measured dry and cooked according to package directions
- 2 tbsp Grapeseed oil
- 1 lb Plant-Based Ground Beef
- 2 tsp Adams Reserve Shichimi Togarashi Seasoning
- 4 oz Stick + Tine Ginger Scallion Asian Everything Sauce
- 4 Sheets of Gimme Sea Salt Roasted Seaweed Snack
Instructions
- While rice cooks, add 2 Tbsp. of grapeseed oil to a medium pan set over medium-high heat. Add Beyond Meat, breaking it up with a fork, and cook for 5 to 7 minutes until browned.
- Add ginger scallion sauce, lower heat to medium-low, and continue to cook for 3 to 5 minutes until thickened. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Place a 6"x6" piece of plastic wrap on a flat work surface. Add water to a small bowl.
- Dip your hands in the water then pick up about 1/2 cup of cooked rice. Press it into a small square on the plastic wrap. Wet your hands again and make a small indentation in the middle of the square. Fill with 1 to 2 tbsp. of Beyond Meat mixture.
- Close up rice ball by grabbing plastic warp's 4 corners and bringing them to the middle, making a rough triangle. Gently press rice into a triangle around the filling using your thumb, index, and middle fingers. Place on a serving platter and repeat with a fresh piece of plastic wrap.
- Just before serving, wrap a piece of roasted nori around the bottom of the triangle.
