Moroccan Pitas

Ingredients
- 1 Large eggs
- 2 Fresh garlic cloves, minced, divided
- 1/4 tsp Ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp Ground cumin
- 3/4 lb Extra lean ground beef 96% lean
- 1/4 tsp Fresh Italian parsley, chopped
- 2 tbsp Tomato paste
- 1/2 tsp Ground fennel seed
- 1 Fresh lemons, juiced
- 1 cup Non-fat plain Greek yogurt
- 4 Pita bread
Instructions
- Combine egg, 1 clove of garlic, ginger, cumin, beef, parsley, tomato paste and ground fennel in a large bowl and mix just until combined.
- Form into 4 equal patties.
- Heat a large nonstick skillet on medium-high and coat with cooking spray.
- Cook patties 4-5 minutes per side or until cooked through.
- Prepare sauce by whisking yogurt, lemon juice and garlic in a small bowl.
- Cut each pita in half, stuff with one patty and spoon in sauce.
