Mint Dragon Fruit Simple Syrup

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp Ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Fresh mint, leaves whole
  • 1 Dragon fruit

Instructions

  1. Using a small pot bring water to a simmer.
  2. When water is simmering add sugar until it is dissolved.
  3. Remove pot from the stove and add black pepper, mint, and dragon fruit to the pot and allow carry over heat to release flavors from all three ingredients.
  4. Once pot is cooled off pour everything into a squeeze bottle and use over yogurt, drinks, or mixed fruit.
