Maple Bacon Waffles

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Canola oil
  • 2 tbsp Maple syrup
  • 1 cup Pancake mix
  • 1 oz Slices fully cooked bacon
  • 2/3 cup Water

Instructions

  1. Preheat waffle iron.
  2. Mix water, oil, maple syrup and pancake mix; Blend well (somewhat lumpy batter makes light, fluffy waffles).
  3. Heat chopped bacon in microwave according to package directions.
  4. Spoon 1/4 cup batter into hot iron and immediately add approximately 1 tablespoon bacon per waffle.
  5. Close waffle iron and cook according to waffle iron directions.
