Malt Vinegar Cabbage

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Bacon, medium diced
  • 1 Medium yellow onion, medium diced
  • 1 Medium green cabbage, core removed, medium diced
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Kosher salt
  • 1 tsp Coarse ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup Malt vinegar

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add bacon and cook, stirring occasionally, until it just begins to crisp around the edges.
  2. Add onion, cook for 2 minutes, and add cabbage. Stir well and season with paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cook for 10 to 12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cabbage has reduced by 1/3 in volume.
  4. Reduce heat to low, cook for 10 minutes, and serve.
