Unsaved Loaded Crescent Hot Dog Ring

Ingredients

  • 24 Crescent rolls
  • 12 Sharp cheddar cheese slider slices, cut in half
  • 24 Cocktail sausages
  • 1 cup No bean chili, warmed
  • 3 tbsp Queso, warmed according to package instructions
  • 1.5 oz French fried onions, toasted in oven

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Lay out crescent rolls and place half a slice of cheese at the top of dough.
  3. Place a smokie on the cheese and roll up.
  4. Place prepared crescents in a large cast iron skillet or 9-inch pan (might need to make in batches). Work from the outside in and make sure it leave space in the center.
  5. Place a small oven safe bowl or ball of foil in the center of pan to keep crescents from spreading.
  6. Bake 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 2 to 3 minutes before removing bowl or foil.
  7. Fill center of ring with chili, queso, crispy onions and a garnish of green onions, if desired.
