Lemon Lavender Simple Syrup

Ingredients

  • 2 cups H-E-B Organics Pure Cane Sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp Dried lavender
  • 1 cup Lemon(s), juice
  • 1 cup Water

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients into a small saucepan and bring to a light simmer, remove from heat and allow syrup to cool.
  2. Drizzle simple syrup on cakes to keep them moist or use in your favorite cocktail recipes.
  3. Remove lavender by straining through a fine mesh sieve.
  4. Store mixture in a resealable container.
