Honey Glazed Almond Salmon

Unsaved Honey Glazed Almond Salmon

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb King salmon fillet, skin on
  • 1/4 cup Mexican mesquite honey
  • 1 tbsp Whole grain mustard
  • 1/2 cup Smoked almonds, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400ºF.
  2. Line a baking sheet with foil. Gently wash salmon and pat dry with a paper towel. Lay skin side down on foil.
  3. Heat honey in microwave for 15 seconds, or until slightly warm and pourable. Mix mustard into honey and spread an even layer over salmon.
  4. Gently press almonds into an even layer on honey. Bake 18 to 20 minutes, or until cook through to desired doneness.
  5. Garnish with green onions and chopped fresh herbs if desired.
