Honey BBQ Slow Cooker Wings

Serves 4
Ingredients
- 4 tbsp Salted butter
- 1/4 cup Honey
- 1/2 cup Texas Style BBQ Sauce
- 1 1/2 lb Chicken wingettes
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in slow cooker set on high heat.
- Stir to be sure chicken is coated in sauce and cover with lid. Cook 1 hour and 15 minutes, stirring once about 40 minutes into cooking.
- Line a sheet tray with foil.
- Using a slotted spoon or tongs, remove chicken from crock pot and place on sheet tray. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Broil wings 2 to 3 minutes or until crispy and starting to brown.
- Brush wings with sauce before serving with fries, vegetable sticks or your favorite sides.
- Chef's Note: Check wings 1 to 2 minutes into broiling to make sure honey doesn't burn.
