Ingredients

  • 1 cup Black pepper grinder
  • 2 cups Applewood chips
  • 1 Cameron's Stovetop Smoker

Instructions

  1. Using foil make a small tray that will fit inside smoker (approximately a 8"x6" piece of foil) so that pepper can evenly sit flat in smoker. Make sure wood is evenly distributed on bottom of pan to ensure you have adequate smoke.
  2. Place 2 cups of soaked wood chips in smoker. Place tray on top of wood and then foil tray on top of that and close lid. Smoke over medium/low heat for 20-25 minutes or until pepper has a good smoke flavor to it when tasted. Allow to cool in smoke box before breaking up and putting into a container. Season your favorite meat with your own homemade smoked pepper.
