Holiday Ham with a Texas Twist

Ingredients

  • 6 lb Fully Cooked Spiral Ham
  • 11 oz Cherry preserves
  • 1/2 cup Pecan cookie pieces
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 325°F.
  2. Unwrap spiral ham, place in roasting pan.
  3. Spoon preserves into a microwave-safe dish, cover with plastic wrap. Heat on high power for 1 minute.
  4. Brush ham with 2-4 tablespoons of preserves.
  5. Heat uncovered on center oven rack for 15 minutes.
  6. Remove ham from oven and brush with more preserves. Heat uncovered for 10 more minutes.
  7. Remove ham from oven. Sprinkle with pecan pieces. Lightly brush pecans with 2-4 more tablespoons preserves.
  8. Heat for 5 more minutes.
  9. Combine remaining cherry preserves with Dijon mustard. Serve sauce along with ham.
