Hickory Jalapeño Poppers

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 tsp Adams Reserve Hickory House Rub
- 8 oz Cream cheese
- 8 Jalapeño pepper
- 8 slices Bacon, flattened with edge of knife
- 4 slices Sharp cheddar cheese, cut in half
Instructions
- Heat grill on medium, about 375˚F.
- Remove a 1-inch slice from top of jalapeños and discard seeds and white membrane.
- In a small bowl, mix cream cheese and hickory rub until well incorporated.
- Stuff jalapeños with cream cheese mixture and place a half slice of cheddar over cream cheese.
- Wrap each stuffed jalapeño with bacon. Use toothpicks to hold bacon in place while grilling.
- Grill jalapeño poppers over medium heat until bacon is completely cooked, about 6 minutes per side.
- Remove from grill and keep warm in oven until ready to serve.
