Unsaved Hearty Italian Meatball Soup

Ingredients

  • 32 oz Reduced sodium chicken broth
  • 2 cups Bow tie farfalle
  • 16 oz Fully cooked Italian style meatballs
  • 1 Tomato basil soup
  • 14.5 oz Italian style diced tomatoes
  • 10 oz Frozen spinach, thawed
  • 1 tsp Shredded parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Boil broth in 3-quart pot.
  2. Add pasta and cook 8 minutes. Do not drain.
  3. Let meatballs thaw slightly for 10 minutes.
  4. Cut meatballs into quarters.
  5. Add soup, meatballs and tomatoes to broth and pasta.
  6. Stir and bring to a boil.
  7. Reduce heat to medium and simmer 15 minutes.
  8. Stir in spinach.
  9. Serve soup with Parmesan cheese.
