Ham and Cheese Casserole

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 tsp Unsalted butter
- 12 Wheat bread
- 10 oz Black forest ham
- 2 cups Shredded mild cheddar cheese
- 2 cups Thin potato chips, jalapeno queso, crushed
- 6 slices Fully Cooked Bacon, chopped
- 6 oz Liquid egg
- 1 cup Fat free Half & Half
- 1/8 tsp Ground nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp Kosher salt
- 1/8 tsp Ground Black Pepper
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 375°F.
- Butter a 9 by 13 inch glass baking dish.
- Butter both sides of bread and layer 6 of them into the bottom of the baking dish, overlapping them as necessary but keep them even.
- Layer the slices of ham on top of the bread, then 6 slices of bread, cheese, potato chips and bacon.
- In a separate bowl, beat together eggs, half and half, nutmeg, salt and pepper.
- Pour over casserole to reach the top and bake for 45 minutes until brown and bubbly.
