Serves 4
Ingredients
- 2 heads Cauliflower
- 1/2 cup Tahini paste, well stirred, no lumps
- 2 tbsp Fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp H-E-B Select Ingredients Texas Originals Steak Seasoning Spice Blend
Instructions
- Trim green leaves from cauliflower but keep stem intact. Using a sharp knife, cut 2 half-inch thick steaks from the middle of each head of cauliflower. Cut with stem side up, making sure each steak has some stem attached to help it remain in one piece.
- In a small bowl combine tahini and lemon juice. If mixture gets too thick, thin it down with a tablespoon of water.
- Preheat grill to medium-high. Drizzle cauliflower with olive oil and sprinkle with steak seasoning. Place steaks on grill and cook for 3 to 4 minutes per side or until fork tender and browned.
- Spread 1 to 2 tablespoons of tahini mixture on top of each steak and cook for 2 minutes with grill lid closed. Remove and serve immediately with lemon wedges if desired.
