Grilled Lamb Steak Gyros

Ingredients
- 1 Bone in lamb leg steak, cut 3/4-inch thick
- 3 1/2 tsp Fresh lemon juice, juiced, reserve 1/2 teaspoon
- 1 tbsp Greek seasoning
- 1/2 cup Nonfat plain yogurt
- 1/2 Cucumber, seeded and chopped
- 1/4 tsp Fresh Mint, chopped
- 1/2 tsp Dill weed, chopped
- 4 Wheat pita, follow
- 2 cups Red Leaf Lettuce, shredded
- 1 Medium tomato, chopped
- 1/2 cup Red onions, chopped
- 1/2 cup Reduced fat feta cheese
Instructions
- Heat grill to medium heat.
- Sprinkle both sides of steak with lemon juice and Greek seasoning and let stand 5 minutes.
- Combine yogurt, 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice, cucumber, mint and dill in a bowl and set aside.
- Grill steak over medium coals 10 to 14 minutes until internal temperature reaches 150°F.
- Microwave pita bread just before serving to soften.
- Cut pitas in half and slice steak into thin strips.
- Fill each pita with steak, then top with yogurt mixture, lettuce, tomato, onion and feta cheese.
