Ginger-Spiced Cucumber Salad

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup White wine vinegar
- 1/2 cup Asian pear sake
- 1/2 cup Brown sugar, packed
- 1 tbsp Fresh ginger root, grated
- 2 Large hot house cucumbers, thinly sliced
- 1 Red onion, thin sliced
Instructions
- Combine white wine vinegar, sake, brown sugar and ginger in a large bowl; stir to dissolve sugar, and set aside.
- Add cucumber slices and red onion slices to vinegar-sake mixture, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes, or until ready to serve.
