Garlic and Herb Creamed Kale

Serves 6
Ingredients
- 2 lb Kale, leafy greens removed from ribs
- 3 tbsp Sunflower oil with garlic and herb flavors
- 1/4 cup Yellow onions, diced
- 1/2 cup Heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup Parmesan fresh grated cheese
Instructions
- Place a 3 quart sauce pan over medium heat. Add basting oil and tilt to coat. Add onions and cook for 3 minutes, or until soft. Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Let simmer for 5 minutes. Whisk in Parmesan cheese.
- Set the sauce aside. Place a large pot over medium heat. Add 1 cup of water to pot and bring to a simmer. Cut kale into bite sized pieces and add to pot. Cover immediately and let steam for 5 minutes, or until slightly wilted.
- Drain kale and return to the pot. Pour sauce into the pan and fold together. Serve immediately.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
