Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 2 lb 80/20 ground beef
- 7 oz Diced Sweet Onions, divided use
- 33 oz Cookwell & Company Texas Two Step Chili
- 15 oz Red Kidney Beans
- 8 oz Corn Chips
- 4 oz Shredded Three Cheese Cheddar Blend
Instructions
- Heat a cast iron skillet or a large pot over medium high. Add oil and ground beef. Stir to break up chunks. Cook 3 to 4 minutes to begin browning.
- Add 1 cup onions and cook another 6 to 7 minutes to soften onions and brown beef well.
- Add chili mix and beans. Stir just until heated through and bubbling. Serve directly from skillet. If using a large pot, pour into serving dish.
- Tuck corn chips all around the edge and garnish with cheddar cheese and remaining onions if desired.
