Fresh Strawberry Empanadas

Unsaved Fresh Strawberry Empanadas

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup Fresh strawberries, diced
  • 2 tbsp Agave nectar, divided use
  • 8 oz Crescent rolls
  • 1 tbsp Sparkling sugar sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Mix together cream cheese, strawberries and 1 tablespoon nectar.
  3. Unroll dough and place about 1 teaspoon of strawberry mixture onto each one.
  4. Fold over dough and crimp edges with a fork.
  5. While cooling, brush with nectar and sprinkle with sugar.
  6. Place onto foil-wrapped baking sheet and bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
