Faceless Sandwich

Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 10 oz Fresh garlic clove
  • 4 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 1 Lime, juice and zest
  • 1 French bread, sliced in half horizontally
  • 1 lb Shredded rotisserie chicken
  • 2 cups Roasted turkey, shredded
  • 4 slices Sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 Dill pickles, sliced
  • 4 tsp Yellow mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Using a garlic press or micro plane, grate garlic into mayonnaise then stir in lime juice and zest.
  3. For each sandwich, spread the garlic lime mayonnaise on the cut side of each half of French bread.
  4. Top with Swiss cheese, shredded chicken and sharp cheddar.
  5. Place on a sheet tray and bake until cheese is melted; about 5 minutes.
  6. Top hot sandwiches with dill pickles and mustard.
  7. Cut diagonally and serve.
