Easy Shrimp Gumbo

Unsaved Easy Shrimp Gumbo

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 1 Large white onion(s), Chopped
  • 10 oz Diced tomatoes and green chiles
  • 2 Ears of fresh sweet corn, cut into 1 inch slices
  • 16 oz Frozen Whole Okra
  • 1 lb Raw large shrimp, peeled, deveined and tail off

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large soup pot to medium-high heat.
  2. Add onions and cook until golden brown (about 3 minutes).
  3. Add tomatoes, corn, okra and a cup of water.
  4. Reduce heat to medium low and simmer for 15 minutes.
  5. Add shrimp and cook an additional 2 minutes until shrimp is pink and tender.
  6. Serve Immediately.
