Serves 8
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
- 2 cups Bread flour
- 1 cup Cold water
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 1 tsp Kosher salt
- 1 tbsp Dry active yeast
Instructions
- In a large mixer with a hook attachment, combine all dry ingredients and mix for 2 minutes. Add the oil and honey and mix to combine.
- Add water and continue mixing everything for several minutes or until dough pulls away from the bowl. If dough looks a bit dry add 1 tbsp of water at a time until it starts to come together. You don't want the dough to be sticky.
- For best flavor results, place dough in a bag and refrigerate overnight to allow dough to rest. For immediate use, form dough into balls and place on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper. Cover with plastic wrap or a small unscented trash bag and allow them to proof (rise) for 20-30 minutes before baking or grilling.
- The next day allow to thaw and rise, cook as needed. Add flour to the surface of your workspace to keep dough from sticking.
