Easy Carne Guisada

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Salted butter
  • 16 oz Fajita vegetables blend
  • 1 tsp Kosher salt
  • 1 tsp Ground black pepper
  • 1 lb Stew meat
  • 1 tbsp All purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp Carne guisada seasoning
  • 2 cups Beef broth

Instructions

  1. In a large non-stick pot or sauté pan over medium heat, add butter, fajita vegetables, salt, pepper and meat. Brown 5 to 7 minutes.
  2. Add flour, carne guisada seasoning and stir quickly then add beef broth.
  3. Simmer over low for 2.5 hours or until meat is tender. Stir occasionally to ensure it doesn't stick.
  4. Serve with tortillas as breakfast tacos or a quick dinner.
