Easy Caesar Salad with Homemade Bacon Croutons

Serves 4
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp Salted butter
- 2 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp H‑E‑B Select Ingredients Bagel Not Included Everything + Bacon Spice Blend
- 6 oz White Bread, cut into 1 inch cubes (about 4 cups)
- 9 oz Romaine Chopped Salad Base
- 1 oz Parmesan Shaved Cheese
Instructions
- Place a large skillet over medium heat. Add butter, olive oil, and spice blend. Stir to combine while butter melts.
- Toss bread cubes into melted butter mixture and stir to coat. Toss gently as bread toasts in the skillet. Cook for 5 to 6 minutes stirring often to cook evenly.
- When croutons are golden brown around the edges, remove from hot pan to a plate to cool.
- Add lettuce to a large bowl, pour salad dressing over the top and add Parmesan cheese and croutons. Toss to evenly coat and divide evenly among serving plates.
