  • 15.2 oz Yellow cake mix
  • 1 tsp Food coloring
  • 16 oz Vanilla frosting
  • 1 cup Sweetened coconut flakes
  • 2 Marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Prepare cake mix according to box directions using two 8-inch round pans then cool and set aside.
  2. Place icing in a small bowl and stir in food coloring.
  3. To make 2 bunny cakes, cut each layer in half to form 2 semicircles, frost in between the two layers, and place cut-side down to form bunny body.
  4. Frost all sides each bunny cake and sprinkle with coconut then place bunny cakes next to each other on a large serving tray.
  5. Cut 4 tall triangles out of white or colored construction paper to make bunny ears; cut a small slit into cake to attach ears on upper front of bunny.
  6. On each bunny, place 2 red jelly beans to create eyes and a pink jelly bean for nose.
  7. Insert straws for whiskers and use marshmallow for bunny tail.
