East Cider Brats

Ingredients
- 1 oz Can Austin Eastciders Dry Apple Cider
- 5 Beer brats
- 5 Bolillos
- 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
- 2 tsp Ketchup
- 1 tbsp Pickle juice
- 1 tbsp Dill pickles, minced
- 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
- 5 slices Swiss cheese
- 1 cup Sauerkraut
Instructions
- In a small sauce pot, bring cider to gentle simmer.
- Add in brats and allow them to simmer 20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, turn oven to high broil.
- Cut bolillos 3/4 of the way through and remove some of bread. Set aside.
- In a small bowl combine mayo, ketchup, pickle juice, pickles and garlic. Stir well to combine.
- After approximately 20 minutes, remove brats from cider and place on foil lined baking sheet. Place in oven and allow brats to brown on both sides. Remove from oven and set aside.
- Spread good amount of sauce inside of prepared bolillos. Place brats on top then cover with cheese.
- Return to oven and allow cheese to melt until nice and bubbly.
- Remove from oven and top with sauerkraut.
