  • 2 cups All purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp Fine sea salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/4 cup Powdered sugar, as needed for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF. Spray a standard cake pan liberally with baking spray and set aside.
  2. In a stand mixer with a paddle attachment, add yogurt, oil, heavy cream, egg, lemon zest, vanilla extract, sugar, flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda.
  3. Turn mixer to medium speed and mix until batter is smooth with no lumps, approximately 3 to 4 minutes. Scrape down sides of bowl as needed.
  4. Pour batter into greased prepared cake pan. Bake for 30 to 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center of cake pulls out clean.
  5. Remove cake from oven and allow to cool completely before removing from pan.
  6. Garnish cake with powdered sugar and serve.
