Creole Pasta Alfredo

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb Fresh, peeled and deveined shrimp
- 1 tbsp Creole seasoning
- 12 oz Andouille sausage
- 5 qt Water
- 4 tbsp Kosher salt
- 17.6 oz Central Market Organic Linguine Bronze Cut Pasta
- 1 tbsp Grapeseed oil
- 1 cup Chopped Creole seasoning mix
- 33 oz Bayou Brothers Creole Sauce
- 1/2 cup Heavy cream
Instructions
- PREP: Seasoning shrimp with Creole seasoning. Slice andouille sausage into coins.
- COOK PASTA: Add 5 quarts of water to a large stockpot and 4 Tbsp of kosher salt. Bring to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 10 to 12 minutes or until al dente. Drain in a colander and set aside.
- SEAR SHRIMP: Place a medium-sized stock pot or Dutch oven over high heat, add grapeseed oil, and heat for 2 minutes. Add shrimp and cook for 1 to 2 minutes per side. Remove from pan and set aside.
- SAUTÉ VEGETABLES: In the same pan, add sausage and sauté for 3 to 5 minutes or until browned. Add Creole seasoning mix and sauté for an additional 4 to 5 minutes until onions are translucent.
- MAKE SAUCE: Add Bayou Brothers Creole Sauce to the stock pot and stir to combine. Stir in heavy cream and simmer until thickened, about 5 to 7 minutes. Add shrimp and pasta, and toss to combine.
- SERVE: Serve pasta with fresh minced parsley.
