Creamy Kale Pesto Chicken Fettuccine

Serves 4
Ingredients
- 10 oz Fettuccine, (or other pasta if you prefer)
- 1 cup Whole milk
- 1 lb Chicken sausage with spinach and feta
- 2 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 cup Bone broth, chicken flavor
- 1 Kale pesto
- 1/2 cup Italian style shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp Lemons, zest
Instructions
- Place a large soup pot over medium-high heat. Add oil to pan.
- Squeeze chicken sausage (from casings) into pan and break up. Cook about 4 to 5 minutes or until sausage begins to brown.
- Turn heat down to medium then add bone broth, milk and pasta sauce. Bring to a simmer, add pasta and stir until noodles begin to soften.
- Cover and cook until pasta is "al dente" or about 15 minutes. Top with lemon zest and Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately.
- Chef's Note: Any shape of pasta may be used, cooking time may vary.
