Cranberry Mostarda

Ingredients

  • 5 Jalapeño pepper, sliced
  • 3 cups Apple cider vinegar
  • 12 oz Dried cranberries
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp Kosher salt
  • 1/4 cup Mustard seeds
  • 1 Cinnamon stick
  • 1/3 cup Shallot
  • 1 Mason jar

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients into non reactive saucepan and bring mixture to a simmer.
  2. Continue to cook 45 - 60 minutes or until liquid in pot has almost completely evaporated and cranberries are nice and soft.
  3. Transfer mostarda to jar, close lid and cool on counter before transferring to fridge. Mostarda will keep in refrigerator about a month.
