Instructions

  1. Fill a large pot to 2/3 depth with salted water and bring to a boil.
  2. Meanwhile, heat a large pan on medium-high. Add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil and meatballs, and cook until brown on all sides, about 10 to 12 minutes..
  3. Reduce heat to medium and slowly pour in pasta sauce. Heat until simmering, about 10 minutes.
  4. With water at a boil, add spaghetti and stir until submerged. Cook about 5 to 7 minutes or until al dente, then remove pot from heat and strain.
  5. Add spaghetti to sauce and meatballs and gently mix until pasta is thoroughly coated with sauce.
  6. Sprinkle cheese over the top, garnish with basil and serve.
