Chocolate Pecan Clusters

Ingredients

  • 11.5 oz Milk chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp All vegetable shortening
  • 2 cups Kellogg's Rice Krispies Cereal
  • 1 cup Pecans cookie pieces
  • 36 Pecan halves, optional

Instructions

  1. In a 2-quart saucepan combine chocolate chips and shortening. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until chocolate melts and mixture is smooth. Remove from heat.
  2. Stir in cereal and pecan cookie pieces. Drop rounded teaspoons onto baking sheets lined with wax paper. Top each with a pecan half, if desired.
  3. Refrigerate about 30 minutes or until firm. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
