  • 1 qt Vanilla ice cream

Instructions

  1. Chop almonds finely using a food processor or a sharp nice. Place chopped almonds in an even layer on a small plate.
  2. Melt chocolate coating in a glass measuring cup and microwave and stir in 30 second intervals until completely melted.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Dip bananas in chocolate to coat completely and lay out in a single layer on parchment. Put bananas in freezer for about 10 minutes to set chocolate.
  4. Pour remaining melted chocolate on a small plate. Dip waffle bowls rims in chocolate and then press gently into chopped almonds and set aside for a few minutes to allow chocolate to set.
  5. To serve sundaes, scoop ice cream into waffle bowls and top with chocolate covered frozen bananas. Serve immediately.
