Cedar Plank Smoked Salmon

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Seafood seasoning spice blend
- 2/3 lb Fresh wild sockeye salmon
- 1 Cedar plank
- 2 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
Instructions
- Soak the cedar plank in cold water for 30 minutes to 2 hours.
- Place a heavy glass bowl over the plank to keep it submersed in the water.
- Sprinkle the H-E-B Spice Company Seafood Seasoning over the Wild Alaskan Salmon fillet.
- Once the cedar plank is soaked, sprinkle it with seafood seasoning as well.
- Place the seasoned salmon skin-side-down on the cedar plank.
- Brush the salmon with oil, cover with plastic wrap, and keep refrigerated until grill is ready.
- Charcoal Grill: Heat 30 minutes. Gas grill: Heat 10 minutes with lid closed.
- Place the prepared cedar plank with salmon directly on the grill and close the cover.
- Grill the salmon for 10-15 minutes or until it flakes easily in from the center part of the fillet (internal temperature should be 140°F).
- Remove from grill and serve.
