Unsaved Carne Asada Street Tacos

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Strip steaks
  • 1/2 cup H-E-B That Green Sauce, plus more as needed for garnish
  • 8 Corn or flour tortillas, plus more as needed
  • 1/2 cup White onion, diced
  • 1 Fresh cilantro, stems removed, rough chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to 350ºF or medium-high.
  2. Season steaks with a liberal pinch of salt and pepper.
  3. Grill to desired doneness then set aside a few minutes to rest.
  4. Slice meat thinly and place in a bowl.
  5. Add salsa and toss to coat.
  6. Assemble tacos: place slices of beef on tortillas and top with fresh onions and cilantro.
  7. Garnish with a lime wedge and more salsa if desired.
